Game of Thrones - Doors Now Open!

The Dark Hedges, also known as the Kings Road in Game of Thrones (GOT), is one of the most beautiful tree avenues in Northern Ireland. The magnificent beech trees were planted by the Stuart family over 200 years ago as an impressive approach to their home, Gracehill House.

Gertie, or rather Storm Gertrude, blew over a few of these wonders in 2016. The wood was salvaged and the result is a set of 10 truly beautiful doors carved to depict scenes from Season 6.

The wily Irish strategically placed these doors to form a compelling route around some of the best known GOT film locations. And where did they decide to place them? In the pubs of course!
