Getting Our Artisans Noticed
One of the great joys of Baileo is getting to know our Irish artisans, sharing the passion they have for their craft and bringing their unique, handcrafted products to the attention of our community. As a small Irish family business ourselves, we know how challenging it can be to get noticed in what can sometimes be a marketplace dominated by the ‘big boys’. So, we bring our treasured finds to your notice and hope you like them as much as we do. Below are some current favorites this Spring season.

A Rare Piece of Irish Gold
The design and inspiration for the Caric Causeway Celtic Pendant from House of Lor comes from the magnificence of the Giant's Causeway in County Antrim, Northern Ireland; the iconic Basalt architecture that reaches out to its Scottish cousin across the Sea. It was the famed home of our great Irish giant Fionn Mac Cumhail.
This Celtic pendant is made with genuine Irish Silver and set with a piece of rare Irish Rose Gold from the misty Sperrin Mountains in County Tyrone. It is an absolute delight and an unforgettable gift. A giant piece of Irish heritage.
The Caric Causeway Pendant is hallmarked in Dublin Castle and beautifully gift-boxed,. The chain is Omega and measures 18" long (approximately 46cm).

On a buying trip to Dublin, Collette spotted this very unusual and striking jewelry. She couldn’t wait to get it into the shop. Mostly made in silver, this gorgeous pendant and bracelet depict the shape of the stones of the World Heritage Site at the Giant’s Causeway in County Antrim. In contrast to the silver stones each piece of jewelry has a single hexagonal stone made of rare gold from the small family mine in the Sperrin Mountains in County Tyrone. A real conversation piece, beautifully imagined and crafted.

Anne Marie loves our nordic style pottery range with its lovely clean white lines and pops of color around the base. You can tell when something is handcrafted with care and that’s what you feel when you hold a piece in your hands. We have given various pieces as gifts on many different occasions from weddings to housewarmings to anniversaries. They are now proudly housed in a range of homes from the cottages in Carmel-by-the-Sea to trendy lofts in New York City and San Francisco.

This beautiful Long Silk Irish Scarf features the vibrant colors of the Irish landscape. A particular favorite of Lucia’s is the beautiful long silk scarves. She loves their vibrant colors and luxurious feel.
