The Whiskey Barrel Irish Cufflinks and Tie Clip started life in the USA where the oakwood barrels matured and stored the finest bourbon before crossing the Atlantic to Ireland. Here they began the next stage of their journey: storing Irish whiskey. After many years of maturing whiskey, the barrels developed a unique and beautiful stain. Greg Piergrosse in County Fermanagh has lovingly recycled the whiskey barrels to create unique pieces of wood art.

Declan Killen is an award-winning Irish goldsmith and jeweler. His creations, which are both contemporary and celtic, have been commissioned by fans around the globe. These cufflinks are inspired by the triskele symbol found on the ancient stones of Newgrange and were presented to President Obama during his official visit to Ireland in 2011. Made of sterling silver, each piece is individually hand crafted and hallmarked. A truly beautiful set.
Newgrange is the most well-known Irish passage tomb which dates back to c.3,200 BC. The large mound is approximately 80 meters in diameter and is surrounded at its base by a curb of 97 stones. The most impressive of these stones is the highly decorated Entrance Stone, on which this design is based.
