Meet the sisters

For generations our Irish family has inhabited - and migrated to - the four corners of the earth.

We love where we live, and we love where we come from.

Put pins on the map, and you’d find us all over. We’re in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

But many of us landed in North America; in Canada, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, California, Georgia and Florida.

The one thing we all have in common is our great fondness for Home or, as we say, ‘Baile’ in Irish. It’s pronounced Balyeh.

For us, and for other Celts that means embracing our roots, rejoicing in our heritage, and sharing our culture whilst playing fully, in the communities we are now part of.

We surround ourselves with things that make us feel ‘abhaile’ (at home).

We seek to know more about where our families come from.

We look for special gifts for friends and family that invoke a feeling of home, as we celebrate life’s significant events.

We really enjoy the scents, the songs and the stories from the old country.

We want to discover.

We know we’re not alone in this and so we created BaileO for people like us, who want an easy route to their own Celtic baile ón mbaile, or home from home.
