As we search for artisans to showcase on Baileo, it’s important to us that they share our commitment to quality craftmanship, protecting the environment, and bringing the best of classic and contemporary designs. It’s also important that they are genuinely nice people.
Many people have traveled to Ireland and made it their home and it’s now one of the most culturally diverse and vibrant countries in Europe. We love the creativity and perspectives they bring, especially when we see exciting and unique creations like Circle Vivendi inspired by the feeling of ‘home’ and the beauty and history of Ireland.
Edina and Imran from Circle Vivendi are delightful partners to Baileo. Their colorful designs and quality linens delight our customers and bring a touch of luxury to life’s special occasions – or maybe you just like having one of their lovely tea towels handy in the kitchen.
A Wish for Home
Born and raised in a small town in Bosnia, Edina Dzin had always wanted to do something with textiles, learning the basics from her beloved grandmother.
A war-torn life brought Edina to Germany, where she started a new life and pursued her dream of becoming a designer. After four years of study and hard work she finally made it but wished for a home and a family of her own and to feel like she like belonged.
Spirit of Ireland
The winds of destiny brought Edina to Ireland where she settled down and found her soulmate Imran, now her husband. They make a great team. Imran is a big art lover and photographer. With Edina’s eye for design and color, and Imran’s creative photography – the combination is a fusion of energy, love and creativity that you can feel in each piece they create. Their work is a vivid world of patterns, beautiful nature scenes, colorful flowers, and authentic Irish features and heritage.
This is a family who love where they live and care deeply about the environment. Each piece is uniquely designed and handmade with minimum impact on the environment, using 100% cotton, linen or velvet printed with eco-friendly inks.
But their greatest creation is their family. “Surrounded with the love and warmth of my family is where I feel happy and safe,” says Edina. “Maybe, because of all of that, most of my creations, originate from the desire to make my home nicer, warmer, and more comfortable.”
Why Circle Vivendi?
Edina explains. “Wherever we look around, things happen in circles, day and night, in our daily patterns, and the seasons of the year. A bit of English, a bit of Latin and here is our name "Circle of Living" - Circle Vivendi. Circle of Living is our inspiration.”
